SunDay Fresh Plan ("SunDay", "we", "us") provides weekly meal plans, grocery lists, and recipes tailored to your household. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, and a securely hashed (bcrypt) password. We never store your password in plain text.
• Household profile: details you choose to provide to personalize your plan, such as household size, dietary preferences or restrictions, and budget.
• Meal plan data: the plans, grocery lists, and recipes generated for you, along with which grocery items you've checked off.
• Push notification token: if you use our iOS or Android app and enable notifications, a device token used only to deliver your "plan is ready" alert.
• Feedback: anything you submit through our feedback form.

How we use it

We use your information solely to generate and deliver your household's meal plans, keep your account secure, send account-related email (such as verification links and, if enabled, plan-ready notifications), and improve the product based on feedback. We do not use your data for advertising.

How we share it

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that help us run SunDay, strictly to provide the service:

• Anthropic (Claude API) — processes your household profile to generate meal plans.
• Resend — delivers transactional email (verification, notifications).
• Apple Push Notification service / Firebase Cloud Messaging — deliver push notifications to your device, if enabled.
• Our hosting and database providers (Render, Neon) — store and run the application.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account and plan data for as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email us at irelove420@gmail.com and we'll remove it within a reasonable time.

Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored or transmitted in plain text. Sessions use signed, secure cookies.

Children's privacy

SunDay Fresh Plan is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
